HILLSIDE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GIVES AN AWARD OF HONOR TO YOUNG BUSINESSMAN DR. MUHAMMAD USMAN SARKI FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY IN KATSINA

On Sunday, December 29, 2024, the Hillside Charitable Foundation celebrated its one-year anniversary, where it selected some outstanding people who provide support and conduct other charitable activities in the community to honor them with medal awards
According to Governor Malam Umar Dikko Radda, who was represented by the Commissioner of Health, Alhaji Musa Adamu Dankafin Katsina, the foundation is working in accordance with the plan of the state government in community development activities and supporting the vulnerable, especially in terms of healthcare by purchasing medicine for them free of charge. The governor said, his government had to allocate 200 million naira to support people with skin disease who will receive free treatment.
The Secretary of board trustees of the foundation Alhaji Sufyanu Badaru Jikamshi, said "the foundation was established on 29/12/2023 based on the hardship the people are facing and economic pressures that have occurred, which has resulted in some people not being able to take care of their health due to lack of money and other means remedy. He added that the foundation provides support for education and good drinking water in the community.
Among the people who were honored at this ceremony was the young businessman, Dr. Muhammadu Usman Sarki, who is famous for supporting the community in various ways, especially by recruiting youths in order to teach them how to do business or any other profession they would have to rely on. Dr. Muhammadu who is in between 39 to 40 years old, is the founder and owner of the Al-Dusar bottled water company and a zoo park which is intended to inform and educate our young generation about the types of animals that are available for nowadays to them.
Also, the businessman received an honorary degree from Annahada University in the Republic of Niger because of his excellence in business and showing the youth the dangers of drug abuse and other in relevant activities in the society.
Others who were honored include Alhaji Bilya Sanda, the Chairman of the Hospital Friends Association together with a young talented journalist who own the Katsina City News company, Malam Danjuma Muhammad Katsina.
