Hajj2024: OVER 200 WOMEN PILGRIMS OF KATSINA STATE PERFORM SPECIAL PRAYERS IN MECCA FOR THE STATE AND COUNTRY

 The reports that reached to us from Mecca, Saudi Arabia this Friday evening that more than 200 women pilgrims went to the Haram on Friday evening where they performed a special circumambulation to pray for the peace and stability of Katsina state as well as development,wealth and progress and to the Nation. 
 The women who were led by some women workers of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board , that is, Mrs. Binta Mai Larabci and Mrs. Hauwa, said that this decision of theirs is one of the promises they made to the State Governor, Mr. Umar Dikko Radda.  The prayers of those who included the Governor himself, the Leaders who led the Hajj Operations and other leaders of Katsina state in general. 
 The women who told that, if there is something more important than performing the circumambulation there to make these prayers, they should have gone and done it to show their gratitude for the kind gestures and care they received when they were going to carry out this Hajj rituals of which they have startes  received right from  home Katsina up to Saudi Arabia. ASKGLOC NEWS tried to hear from some of the women by phone call after receiving the news from Mecca to hear from them.  Hajiya Halima said, "we made this decision to do the Dawafi on this Friday because of its importance. Also, we asked God to end the hard situation we are facing due to insecurity and high cost of living. And also, looking at the way the Governor has served us in this operations especially taking responsibility for us to do Hadaya and offer the 400 Saudi Riyals for salla gifts of which help us much looking at the high cost and prices that is being faced even here in the country". 
 Another woman pilgrim who said she is from Kaita local government,(named withheld) said, she joined the ranks of her other sisters when she heard they were planning to do this special Dawafi. "Looking of our state in terms of security challenges and the way the governor has focused on saving the lives of the community to the best of his ability, then anyone who thinks wisely especially women who are left behind with orphans, say we are safe from these terrorists harassment, we have to come out and pray especially at this place where the prayer to be accepted without any barriers. We are truly grateful to the Governor and our member of the House of Assembly from Kaita Local Government who also visited us and gave us support".
 When remembered, Governor Radda appealed the pilgrims to pray for the state and the country for peace and progress.  Also he requested them to pray for him and God will continue to give him the strength of faith to rule the state with justice.
