18 HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA DISTRIBUTES TO RESCUE KIDNAP VICTIMS IN KATSINA

Nigerian Army Camped at Marabar Dan-Ali in Danmusa Local Government have successfully rescued 18 kidnapped victims on Monday 5th January, 2024.
The Soldiers took a rescue operation into the 'Yantumaki/Dan-Ali forest after a dual gun battle with the notorious bandits hideouts.
In a press statement signed by Director Public Relations of the Ministry of Internal Security and home affairs Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali, following the successful operation, the Commander of the 17 Brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General Oluremi Ayobami Fadairo handed over the rescued victims to the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu Danmusa at the Marabar Dan-Ali Army Camp.
General Oluremi Ayobami Fadairo assured the readiness of the 17 Brigade to continue to work and for the restoration of permanent peace in the State. He charged the Military personnel under the Brigade to continue with this kind of rescue operation and ensure that all other victims of kidnapping have been freed.
In his respond, the Commissioner of Internal Security Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu restated maximum commitment of the Government to restore permanent peace in the State.
Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu explained that Governor Dikko Umar Radda has committed so much to the Security Sector and the investment has been yielding positive results.
While thanking the Military and all other Security Agents for their courageous service, the Commissioner Cautioned the bandits, kidnappers and all other criminals to repent immediately or face the negative consequences.
He equally assured that Security Government is making necessary efforts to rescue people of Sabuwa Local Government who were kidnapped on their way to a wedding ceremony. The Commissioner advised people especially in the Frontline Local Government areas to avoid night traveling and to always assist government with useful information about criminals and their hideouts.
Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu later presented One Hundred Thousand Naira to each of the rescued victim on behalf of Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
The rescued victims who are all female were kidnapped from Karaduwa, Sayaya, Dangani and Wawar Kaza of Matazu, Musawa and Kankara Local Government areas respectively.
