NUJ IN KATSINA 'II CONTINUE TO WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH CHIEFS OF MEDIA ORGANISATIONS
Katsina State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists – NUJ - has Congratulated its Member Alhaji Lawal Attahir Bakori over his recent appointment as General Manager of Katsina State Radio Service. The Union equally thanked Governor Dikko Umar Radda for considering its Member and elder Lawal Attahiru to head the first ever established Media Organization belonging to the state government.
According to the State Chairman of the Union Alhaji Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali, the NUJ in Katsina State will continue to work in collaboration with Chief Executive Officers of Media Organizations with the aim of publicizing Government policies and programmes
"As a retired Director who began his career at the State Radio, we are confident that the new appointee will bring positive changes and reposition the general affairs of the State Radio"
"Our Union described the appointment of Lawal Attahiru as one of the most deserving appointments made by the Governor as Head of Organizations in the State. We therefore prayed Allah to guide the New Radio General Manager and also Guide all the practicing journalist in the state.
