Katsina : PEOPLE COMMEND COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL SECURITY FOR HIS COMMITMENT TOWARDS TACKLING INSECURITY CHALLENGES

People in the affected areas facing insecurity challenges commened the Commissioner for Internal security and home affairs Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu Danmusa for his commitment towards tackling insecurity challenges in the State.
Malam Nasiru 'Yargamji of Batsari local government made this statement during an interview with our Reporter. Nasiru said, the introduction of Community Watch Corps by Governor Malam Umar Dikko Radda is highly commendable of which he said, Dr. Nasiru has the hand in implementing it.
It 'll be recalled that, the Katsina State Government has intensified efforts training and re traing of the newly established Security Watch Corps of which the Commissioner launched a new training Workshop for the Security Watch Corps in Jibia Local Government.
Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu said the Workshop was aimed at boosting the capacity and capability of the Watch Corps especially as it relates to their day to day activities.
He assured that not only the training Workshop but government will continue to boost their welfare and provide them with all the needed logistics and equipments.
He however called for cooperation between all the Security Watch operatives which he described as another factor that will assist them to succeed.
Earlier, the Jibia Local Government's Chairman Alh. Bishir Sabi'u Maitan said with the introduction of the Security Watch, most people of the area were now sleeping with their two eyes closed. He assured readiness to continue to assist the State Government's efforts towards maintaining permanent peace in the area.
On the other hand, a Paper delivered by Colonel Suleman Sayaya, taught the Security Watch Corps Operatives on how best to improve their skills especially during operations.
The training Workshop was conducted in the presence of the Districts Heads of Jibia and Daddara as well as the Divisional Police Officer and other Security Agents
The Director Public Relations of the Ministry Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali reports that same training Workshop will be conducted in other areas where the Security Watch Corps operates.
