Kassrota : DESIST FROM ILLEGAL ROAD SIDE BUSINESS OR FACE WRATH OF THE LAW

Katsina State Safety And Roads Traffic Authority (KASSROTA) has warned people operating business illegally by the road sides to desist or face the full wrath of the law that established the agency.
According to the the press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the authority Abubakar Marwana Kofar Sauri, the Director General of the authority, retired Major Garba Yahaya Rimi gave that warning. The Director General said the authority will soon start arresting anybody found displaying goods for sale on road sides that were provided for the use of people trekking. He therefore called on the people concerned to vacate their business from the road sides as this is against the law.
The Director General,also cautioned agaist washing motorcycles and tricycles on the road sides, describing the action as amongs the causes of unnecessary accidents in the major towns of the state. He therefore advised those making this illegal acts to transfer to safer places to be for their legitimate business.
The statement also cautioned KEKE NAPEP riders and commercial drivers to desist from overload and renew their particulars for their own safety.
The authority warned underage driving or riding of KEKE NAPEP as this is also against the law of the land. The retired Major noted that the agency will no longer tolerate all forms of reckless driving by some erring drivers in the state.
In the statement also qoated the Commandant of the authority in charge of vehicles operation calling on the staff of KASSROTA to be discharging their duties deligently. Commandant Alhaji Amiru Tsiga also warned them to desist from collecting bribe while on duty. He eaqually urged officials of the authority to always respect people while calling on the general public to give KASSROTA maximum cooperation for the overall development of Katsina state and its people.
