Katsina LEA : WHO IS DR.HALIMA KOFAR SAURI
The Newly appointed Katsina Local Government Education Secretary Halima Umar Kofar Sauri Phd has assumed office. Until her appointment as the Education Secretary of the Katsina LEA, Dr Halima was the Director Procurement Isah Kaita Collage of Education Dutsinma. She was also a onetime classroom Teacher, a Principal, Lecturer, UNICEF Coordinator and member of various committees.
The newly appointed education secretary in Kstaina Local Government, Dr. Kofar Sauri holds OND from Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnics, B.ED Social Studies at prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and Master of Education Psychology from Bayero University Kano, PGDE,Early Child Care Education ECCE from University of Ibadan and Phd Education Psychology from Bayero University Kano.
Her appointment as new Katsina Local Education Secretary was contained in a letter dated 12th September, 2023 And signed by the Secretary Katsina State Primary Education Board Alhaji Kabir Magaji the state.
The new education secretary who was later conducted round the office complex on a familiarization tour was accompanied by families, friends and well-wishers on her first day at work
Addressing the staff on the assuming day in office Dr Halima Kofar Sauri who solicits for their support and cooperation to move the education sector of Katsina Local Government Area forward, also charged them to be dedicated to their duties.
She then thank Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda for giving her the opportunity to serve her community in this capacity and assured to use her wealth of experience for the development of education sector in.
