BAN OF COMMERCIAL MOTORCYCLES AND TRICYCLES MOVEMENT IN 19 LGs OF KATSINA ADJUST TO TEN p.m TO SIX am

The ban on the movement of Commercial Motorcycles and Tricycles (Keke NAPEP) instituted in the Frontline and other vulnerable Local Governments areas affected by Security Challenges has been modified from eight pm - six am now ten pm to six am(8pm-6am adjusted to 10pm-6am
According to the statement signed by Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali, the media Aide of the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Interna Security and Home Affairs Dr. Nasiru Ma'azu DanMusa. 
"Follows by a Security Council Meeting held on Tuesday 12th September, 2023 at Government House, Katsina, the meeting resolved that the banning of the movement of these Motorcycles and Tricycles will now become effective only from ten p.m to six am daily instead of eight pm to six am that was earlier instituted.
"The Security Council also thanked all people residing in these  Local Governments areas for cooperation and support being rendered to Government and the Security Agencies regarding the containment order". 
The Ministry also assured that  various plans and efforts are being made by the Government to bring an end to the Security Challenges facing the State.
If recalled that, the Local Governments areas fully affected by this order banning movements of Commercial Motorcycles and Tricycles now from ten pm to six am are; Jibia, Batsari, Safana, Danmusa, Kankara, Faskari, Sabuwa, Dandume, Danja, Funtua, K'afur, Malumfashi, Musawa, Matazu, Bakori, Dutsinma, Kurfi, Kankia and Charanchi.
