KATSINA GOVERNMENT 'II CONTINUES ITS BEST IN TACKLING INSECURITY IN THE STATE

A high powered delegation from Katsina State has visited Bakori local govt to condoled and sympathied with the families of villagers who lost their lives in the gun battle with bandits in the area.The delegation led by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Muntari Lawal visited Guga,Kandarawa, Garangozai,and unguwar Baushe where the delegation extended deep sorrow and sympathy of the State Governor Aminu Bello Masari to the affected families over the sad and sorrowful incident.
The Secretary to the State Government in company of some commissioners and key government functionaries described the clash that led to the killing of innocent villagers who were out to depend themselves from the senseless and unlawful acts of the bandits as unfortunate.The leader of the delegation said, "action must to be taken to prevent the re-occurance of such senseless killing".
Alh Muntari Lawal said Governor Masari was deeply torched and had shed tiers for the fallen heroes and prayed Allah to have mercy on the deceased and give the families the fortitude to bear the loss. The Representative of the Governor announced that Government will continue to do its best in tackling insecurity across the state.
In their separate remarks the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs Alhaji Ya'u Umar Gwajo-Gwajo and that of Water Resources Alhaji Musa Adamu Funtua called on the villagers to remain firm and depend themselves as government will continue to train vigilantes to protect their lives and areas. Later the delegation announced a plan by the state government to assist the families of the slain heroes.
The member representing Bakori/Danja. Federal Constituency Alh Amiru Tukur thanked the Governor for sending such high powered delegation to offer condolence to the local govt and families of the deceased 'Yansakai. Similarly the APC candidate for Governorship position in the state Dr Dikko Umar Radda donated seventy bags of Rice and fifty thousand naira to the families of those killed.
