CORPS MEMBERS IN KATSINA PROVIDE HOSPITAL MATERIALS TO COMMUNITY CLINIC

As part of their Community Development Service (CDS), Corps Members in Dandagoro Community in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State on Monday 13th February, 2023 bought a lot of hospital materials/ Equipment and stocked the community Maternity and Health Care Clinic for the people's comfort
The materials bought include :- Spygmomanometer, stethoscope , thermometer, Capillary Tubes Glucometer Malarial RTD Kit, Clinical Mattresses, Bedsheets and Mosquitoes Nets ND other things
Speaking at the commissioning of the project, the president of the group , Promise Chukwuemelie Ezenwosu( KT/22A/2079) told the gathering that they discovered that the people were in dare need of someone who will take care of their health and as one of the goals of the MDGs they resolved is to provide solution especially when they observed the hardship that women in labour were passing through to access good health care.
Delivery the materials , the NYSC Katsina State Coordinator Hajiya Aisha Muhammad , commended the SDG Corps Members for their patriotic zeal and the kind mind they have to give and help the less privileged. Aisha prayed that the good Lord will continue to bless the Corps Members anywhere they go.
The Coordinator who was represented by the Zonal Inspector Katsina Zone Mallam Kabir Abdulsalam called the various Community leaders to always assist the Corps Members to actualize their dreams of CDS. The Coordinator thanked the Chairman Batagarawa Local Government Area Alhaji Bala Tsanni for being there for the Corps Members always
She discribed that, the Local Government Inspector Mallam Isa Tanko was also doing the right thing for guiding the Corps Members the right way to go. Aisha called on the Inspectors of other local government areas across the state to learn from Batagarawa LGI and commit their council Chairmen to do same.
One of the Dandagoro Community member who spoke about the project Madam Ajetu Abbas said the Corps Members have brought happiness and joy to their community. She explained that when the Centre was good and the equipments were available they were not going too far to access the facility but for the past two or three years they have suffered untold hardship especially pregnant women who have to go through a long journey to katsina township, spending a lot of money to go for anti - nata. The District Head of Batagarawa who was represented by Magaji Dandagoro Alhaji Muttak Magaji praised the NYSC for always giving them the best set of Corps Members in their community , He promised that the community will continue to do it's best to provide adequate security and care for the Corps Members
The Chairman Batagarawa Local Government Area Alhaji Bala Tsanni promised that the Council will continue to support the Corps Members posted to the local government Area. The Chairman who spoke through the Secretary said Corps Members have been discovered to be more transparent and sincere in handling most of the developmental projects at the grass root and so they have resolved to continue to support the NYSC Community Development Service CDS through the services of the Corps Members.
