NSCDC SANDWICH 3 SUSPECTS IN KATSINA

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Katsina State Command has paraded three suspected thieves that specialized on stealing valuables items during special gatherings like, wedding and naming ceremonies. The suspects are Abdulmajid Sani 16 years ‘M’; Nura Abdullahi 19 years ‘M’ both of Kofar Marusa Quarters,and Shamsu Musa  (Khalifa)10 years ‘M’ of Tudun Katsira quarters Katsina were arrested on Friday, 30th Sept, 2022 while attempting to steal some valuables items such as necklace, mobile phones and money. The suspects thieves were caught during a wedding ceremony near Daular Kaji, Kwado Quarters in Katsina.
State Commandant Mohammad Sanusi Bello psc+ during parading the suspects said that, the command always is ready to fight any crime and criminalities in the state, according to press statement signed by the Command's spoke person DSC Muhammed Tukur Abdara.
"The Command's operatives acting on intelligences has been on the trail of such kinds of miscreants and on Friday, were able to apprehend the suspects while trying to commit the dastardly act. One of the suspects identified as Abdulmajid allegedly disguised Khalifa to pretend to be a child of one of the guests and was apprehended while attempting to steal a phone belonging to one of the guest after which he pointed the two other suspects whom were also arrested while attempting to escape on a get away tricycle. All the three suspects including Nura who was the tricycle rider confessed that they were there to steal and they even claimed that there are other gang of thieves that had already visited the same ceremony and stole other valuables led by Dan Musa who is also atlarge. One phone (Iphone) was recovered during investigation, and the command is continuing with investigatiin to apprehend the two other suspects now atlarge and their co-conspirators".
Commandant Bello is also using this opportunity to urge members of the general public to assist security agencies with accurate and prompt information on any suspicious individuals and activities so as to effectively tackle the security challenges facing the state.
The Commandant also warned criminals to stay off the state, as the Command will not relent in its effort toward tackling all forms of crimes and criminalities across the state and anyone caught breaking the law will be dealt with decisively.
