NSCDC NAB 24 YEAR OLD FOR CAUSING GRIEVOUS HARM IN KATSINA

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Katsina Command parades 1 suspect identified as Abubakar Bello 'M' 24 years of Yammawa Quarters in Katsina Metropolis suspect for causing grievous harm to one Abbas Maikare using a matchete on 20th Oct, 2022 at Gwangwan junction, in Katsina Metro. According to State Commandant Muhammad Sanusi Bello(psc+) through Command's spoke person DSC Muhammed Tukur Abdara, the incidence occurred during a Maulud activities to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W when the suspect allegedly attacked the victim who is receiving treatment at Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina leading to serious injury on his back and arm. "The Command's operatives who were on the prawl of such criminals quickly swung into action and apprehended the hoodlum, thereby preventing more bloodshed and the breakdown of law and order".
The suspect, after preliminary investigation and interrogation confessed to have committed the said offence and when investigation is concluded would be charged to court for prosecution.
The State Commandant Muhammad Bello, assure the good of Katsina State that the Corps will not relent in it's effort to rid the state of these criminals, particular during festive periods. He also urged members of the general public to assist security agencies with accurate and prompt information on suspicious individuals and activities so as to effectively tackle the security challenges facing the state.
The State Commandant also warned criminals to stay off the state, as the Command will not relent in its effort toward tackling all forms of crimes and criminalities across the state and anyone caught breaking the law will be dealt with decisively.
